I stage managed one of Westminster’s main stage performances God of Carnage in the Spring of 2023. Initially I was the assistant stage manager and was promoted to stage manager early on during the rehearsal process.
This was somewhat of a challenge for me because I was still in the required stage management class, so it was truly an on-the-job learning process for me. After my first tech run I was praised for my collaborative work by our technical director after finishing the first cue-to-cue run in 30 minutes, a first ever in his experience.
